2025 in Review –
Cintasia’s Xmas Wrap-Up –
As the holiday season arrives and Michael Bublé’s Christmas tunes fill the air once again, it’s the perfect moment to pause and reflect on an eventful 2025.
It’s been a year of meaningful connections, industry insights, and steady progress in supporting our clients’ growth in Indonesia’s dynamic market.
This year, we stayed deeply engaged, attending and sharing insights from major events that shape Indonesia’s industrial and tech landscape:
We travelled to France (March) to attend Lyon’s global Industrie exhibition, connecting with companies with an interest in exporting to Indonesia.
We reported live from
- Indo Defence Expo and Forum (June), a yearly defense exhibition hosted by Indonesia’s Ministry of Defence.
- Mining Indonesia 2025 (September) at JIExpo, connecting with partners in the mining and equipment space.
- the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s annual leadership forum (November).
We participated in tech-focused events like
- Manufacturing Indonesia (November)
- energy briefings (Djakarta Mining Club, November)
- the French Tech Indonesia Annual Summit (November).
We shared timely analyses on business and economic topics, such as
- escaping the commodity trap
- rupiah redenomination debate
- Indonesia’s richest people (80 thousand views on LinkedIn !)
We joined ESAP, a regional group of recruiters, as their exclusive representative in Indonesia.
We joined Asia-Connect, a regional network of Interim Management Solutions providers, as their partner in Indonesia.
We published 3 sectoral carousels on

We kicked off cooperation with 2 new customers, one in the mining sector and one in the satellite communication sector.

These activities allowed us to support clients in industrial engineering, technology, and manufacturing, facilitating market entry in Indonesia, partnerships, and informed decision-making in a competitive environment.
Beyond Business, we :
Continued to live our passion for Trail Running with, among others, an epic race in Dieng plateau in August, Central Java. Epic not for the distance and elevation gain (« only » 25km and 1500m), but epic for the air rarefaction in altitude: the race started at about 2000m (above sea level) with the highest point being at about 2600m. We did manage to finish within the official time.
Started learning about cryptocurrencies, driven by the acceleration of the adoption, especially in Indonesia, now ranking 3rd globally. Robinhood, an American major crypto trading app, has confirmed and announced (December) its plan to enter Indonesia.
Indonesia in 2025: Key Highlights
Economy
- GDP growth held steady around 5%, with President Prabowo’s administration targeting higher rates through domestic consumption boosts.
- Launch of the ambitious free nutritious meals program, allocating billions to support schoolchildren and stimulate demand.
- Continued FDI inflows into mining, manufacturing, and digital sectors, alongside allocated funding for infrastructure.

Politics
- President Prabowo Subianto’s first full year emphasized continuity from Jokowi-era policies, with a large cabinet driving ambitious goals like 8% growth and social programs.
- September saw significant and nationwide social unrest, reminding the ruling class that abuse of power also has a limit the people can accept. Read more here.
- Investments in the Nusantara capital project progressed, with billions committed for 2025-2029 development, reaffirming the vision of a new political center, despite scaled ambitions.
- French President Macron visited Indonesia in May, and in July Indonesia was Guest of Honor in France for Bastille Day, celebrating the 1789 French Revolution.
As 2025 wraps up, we’re grateful for the partnerships and progress.
