Send them on a volcano for an ultra trail race! –

2 min read –

Last week, we, Cintasia, embarked on a journey that pushed our limits and reaffirmed our commitment to overcoming challenges.

We participated in the Bali Ultra Trail, a grueling 27km race through the volcanic terrain of Mount Batur, Bali, Indonesia.

This experience not only tested our physical endurance but also highlighted the core values that drive us: commitment and resilience.

We completed the race in 12 hours. Although we didn’t qualify for the medal (cut-off-time 10 hours), the journey was our true reward.

At the 15km mark, we almost quit. But, we pressed on, inspired by our belief in perseverance—a principle that is fundamental in both extreme sports and business.

Out of the 120 participants in our category (27km), 20 gave up.

We chose to continue, navigating over 1815m of elevation gain and facing the most challenging volcanic terrain, where running and walking on sand, rocks, and steep slopes tested our limits.

The race began at sunrise, and after 12 hours of relentless effort, we finished at sunset.

Our journey took us to the volcano’s summit at 1700m above sea level, offering breathtaking views that made every hardship worthwhile.

About 4 hours before the finish line, my metabolism suddenly dropped, leading to a bizarre state where I felt cold and shivering despite the scorching sun.

This moment of vulnerability was a stark reminder of the unpredictable nature of challenges.

Yet, we adapted, persevered, and kept moving forward—a testament to our ability to remain resilient under pressure.

Crossing the finish line was a profound emotional release. We burst into tears, overwhelmed with a sense of achievement and relief.

My connected watch recorded 59,000 steps on that day, and despite my right knee giving out, I pushed through with sheer determination.

The experience left us physically exhausted but mentally invigorated, feeling strong and invincible.

As we navigated the harsh terrain and unpredictable obstacles of Mount Batur, we navigate the complexities of business with unwavering commitment and teamwork.

Our experience underscores the importance of resilience, adaptability, and relentless pursuit of goals—values that are at the heart of our company Cintasia.

Our Bali Ultra Trail experience is a testament to our ability to face challenges head-on, adapt to changing circumstances, and achieve our goals despite the odds.

As business leaders, we bring this same tenacity and dedication to our clients, ensuring that we deliver exceptional results no matter the challenges we face.

Let’s conquer challenges together, with the same spirit of determination and resilience that took us to the finish line in Bali.

We are Cintasia, we bring your technology and industrial equipment to Indonesia.

PS: We trained for 3 months for this race. Preparation is key, both in sports and business.
