Last week, we CINTASIA, attended the Indo Defence 2025 Expo & Forum at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, a defense exhibition hosted by Indonesia’s Ministry of Defence.
Running from June 11-14, this event showcased cutting-edge advancements in defense, aerospace, and maritime technologies, drawing over 1,180 exhibitors from 42 countries.
The show highlighted Indonesia’s push for defense self-reliance, featuring innovations like the MV3-EV “Pandu,” a new electric tactical vehicle unveiled during the opening by President Prabowo Subianto. See picture.
Major players included Türkiye, with 29 firms leading the pack, alongside the UAE, showcasing over 90 products, and the USA with its Partnership Pavilion.
Other significant contributors were China, Russia, and European nations like France and Germany, reflecting a global industry worth billions.
The exhibition featured drones, autonomous submarines, and advanced cybersecurity solutions, emphasizing innovation in modern warfare.
The event buzzed with technical presentations and live demos, attracting 40,000 visitors, including military leaders and policymakers.
Networking opportunities abounded, with countries like the UAE and Türkiye strengthening ties through their extensive pavilions.
The atmosphere was electric, blending high-tech displays with strategic discussions, underscoring Indonesia’s rising role in the global defense sector.
As visitors, we were impressed by the scale and the focus on future-ready technologies, making Indo Defence 2025 a must-see for industry insiders.
