In the world of consulting, words like commitment, resilience, and leadership are often thrown around in glossy brochures.

That’s why we put our values to the ultimate test through trail runs.

On Jan 24, 2026, we earned our second certification on the 40km Tahura Trail Run in Bandung’s Djuanda Grand Forest Park.
This was our longest endeavor yet, stretching 40 km with about 1200 m of elevation gain.
Unlike Batur’s steep volcanic climbs, Tahura’s challenge was an endless distance testing our energy management, compounded by Indonesia’s rainy season.
Torrential downpours turned paths into slick mudslides, every step a battle against suction and slip.
The forest canopy dripped relentlessly, soaking us to the bone.
My right knee, that old adversary from Batur, flared up again around the 30km mark, sending sharp jolts with each descent.
Pain radiated like a warning siren, urging me to stop.
Doubt crept in: Could I push through without serious damage?
The physical toll was high, mind fogging from hours of relentless motion.
Yet, this is where true leadership emerges.
I focused on energy pacing: consistent sips of electrolytes and strategic walk-run intervals.
Sandyani’s encouragement (our cofounder) echoed through the mist, a reminder that we’re not solo runners but a unified force.
As the finish line neared, adrenaline surged.
Crossing it after nearly 10 hours, mud-caked, exhausted, but triumphant, brought an emotional flood.
Tears mixed with rain on my face. We had done it!
This trail run mirrors the business arena perfectly.
Just as we navigated mud and managed stamina over 40km, Cintasia tackles complex projects with sustained energy and adaptability.
Clients face “rainy seasons” of market volatility or regulatory hurdles; we lead by example, overcoming obstacles with resilience to deliver results.
With this certification, our ITRA ranking (see picture) now hovers below 300, still in the novice category, for now.
But we’re committed to leveling up.
Two more races await us in 2026: Mount Sindoro in June and Mount Merbabu in September, propelling us to intermediate status within the year.
For both, the challenge will be altitude as we will touch 3000 meters above sea level.
