On 16 October 2026 in Jakarta, CINTASIA had the privilege of presenting as part of the Business Leadership League (BLL) India Business Delegation.
BLL is a Mumbai-based platform connecting entrepreneurs and leaders across India.
BLL brought to Indonesia around 15 companies from manufacturing, engineering, technology, healthcare and related sectors for B2B meetings, association engagements, and industrial visits, timed with Trade Expo Indonesia.
The purpose was to equip Indian businesses with practical knowledge to explore and succeed in the Indonesian market, while strengthening bilateral commercial ties.
I delivered our “Export Strategy” presentation.
We covered Indonesian market trends (manufacturing rebound, downstreaming policy, digital infrastructure needs), concrete sector opportunities (Weda Bay nickel projects, Batam AI data centres, healthcare equipment programmes), market-entry legal entity options (PT PMA, PT PMDN, KPPA), and hard-won lessons from the field.
A key focus was cultural differences through Geert Hofstede’s framework. India and Indonesia share high Power Distance, yet diverge notably on Individualism, Long-Term Orientation, and Indulgence.
Understanding these nuances is essential for building trust and avoiding costly missteps in negotiations and partnerships.
CINTASIA continues to bridge Indonesia with the outside world: helping international technology and industrial companies explore, sell and operate successfully here.
The potential for deeper Indian-Indonesian collaboration is large.
